Another small forest has been planted on Pikowai Farms.  Bruce and Tessa Calder with far, manager Tama Murray put in a week of back breaking work last year to plant 3,000 native tress to add to thousands they’ve already planted on the hill country farm near Matata

“We are proud of what we have been able to achieve.  It would have been nice to do this 30 years ago but then we were focused on developing the farm.  Now we are able to concentrate more on the environment” said Bruce Calder of Pikowai Farms.
